Use of Our Services
You must be at least 18 years old to use DGProfile's services. By using our services, you warrant that you are 18 years or older and capable of entering into legally binding contracts.
You agree not to use DGProfile for any unlawful or prohibited purposes. You may not use our services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair DGProfile or interfere with any other party's use of our services.
Nature of the Platform
DGProfile is an open information platform. We collect and organize biodata and profile information so that you and your family can view it and decide whom to consider. We do not guarantee a match, an introduction, an engagement, or a marriage, and we do not act as your agent when you finalize a match.
DGProfile provides data in an organized form for you to see and select. Any decision to contact a person, meet a family, share personal or financial information, accept or reject a proposal, or finalize a match is yours alone. DGProfile will not take responsibility for the match you finalize.
Source of Biodatas
Biodatas and profiles on DGProfile may be sourced from publicly accessible WhatsApp groups and other publicly shared sources, as well as information submitted by users or their families. We organize this information so it is easier to browse. We do not create, control, or independently confirm the original contents of third-party biodatas.
Information collected from public groups may be incomplete, outdated, duplicated, or no longer accurate. A biodata appearing on DGProfile does not mean that the person or family asked DGProfile to list them, that they are seeking a match, or that the details are current.
Sharing Your Biodata
If you share your biodata, personal details, or profile details with DGProfile — including through a form, an upload, a message, or any other submission — you agree that we may share that biodata and those details with other DGProfile members and their families. This includes showing your profile in the portal, in recommendations, and in community or group shares.
If you submit information for someone else, such as a son, daughter, or relative, you confirm that you are authorized to share their biodata and personal details with DGProfile and with other members for matrimonial purposes.
Outdated Information and Marital Status
Many people do not tell us when a marriage has been finalized. Because of that, a profile may still appear after the person is engaged or married, and other details may also be out of date. We try our best to remove married profiles from our database regularly, but we cannot guarantee that every married profile has been removed or that the information you see is current.
You should confirm marital status and other important details yourself before you contact a family or proceed with a match. DGProfile is not responsible if a profile is outdated for this reason.
Profiles May Not Be Verified
Profiles may not be verified. DGProfile does not represent that any profile, photograph, name, age, marital status, education, occupation, income, family detail, community detail, or contact information has been identity-checked, background-checked, or confirmed as genuine.
Organizing profiles, filtering them, recommending them, or sharing them in a group is for convenience only. It is not a verification, endorsement, certification, or warranty of any person or of the information shown.
Your Due Diligence
You must do your own due diligence before you rely on any biodata. You are solely responsible for independently verifying the identity, age, marital status, family details, and any other facts that matter to you before you communicate, meet, share personal or financial details, or proceed toward a marriage.
Do not treat DGProfile, its recommendations, group shares, or any message from our team as a substitute for your own inquiries. Where appropriate, seek your own legal, financial, or other professional advice. You use the platform at your own risk.
No Responsibility for Matches
DGProfile is not responsible for the conduct, representations, omissions, or suitability of any user, family, or third party, or for the outcome of any conversation, meeting, introduction, proposal, engagement, or marriage.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DGProfile disclaims all responsibility and liability for any loss, harm, dispute, emotional distress, financial loss, or other damage arising from a match or alliance you choose, or from your reliance on any biodata or profile information.
Recommendations and Introductions
Daily matches, personal recommendations, WhatsApp group shares, portal listings, and similar features are informational tools. They reflect information available to us and preferences you share with us. They are not a promise that a person is genuine, compatible, available, or appropriate for marriage.
If our team helps pass on a profile or arrange a conversation, that assistance does not make DGProfile a party to your decision and does not create any duty to investigate the people involved.
User Accounts
When creating an account on DGProfile, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.
Intellectual Property
DGProfile's own content, including text we write, graphics, logos, button icons, and software, is the property of DGProfile and is protected by applicable copyright laws. Biodatas and profile information sourced from public WhatsApp groups or submitted by users remain the responsibility of the people who created or shared them. DGProfile does not claim ownership of that third-party information and does not warrant that it is accurate.
You may not reproduce, distribute, display, sell, lease, transmit, create derivative works from, translate, modify, reverse-engineer, disassemble, decompile, or otherwise exploit this website or any portion of it unless expressly permitted by DGProfile.
No Warranty
DGProfile's website, biodatas, profiles, recommendations, and related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that any information is accurate, complete, current, or fit for a particular purpose, or that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
Users are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and checkpoints to satisfy their own requirements, including the accuracy of information they rely on.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DGProfile, its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use or inability to use our services, from inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or fraudulent biodata, from any match or alliance, or for the cost of procurement of substitute services.
If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to DGProfile for the service giving rise to the claim in the three months before the claim arose, or INR 1,000, whichever is lower.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DGProfile and its directors, officers, employees, and affiliates from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the platform, your reliance on any biodata, your communications or meetings with any person, or any proposal, engagement, or marriage you enter into.
Modification of Terms
DGProfile reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated terms will be effective immediately upon posting on the DGProfile website. Your continued use of our services after the posting of modified terms constitutes your acceptance of those terms.
